The Lahoux Clip 50 is based on the Lahoux Clip 35, but the effective range could be increased by over 40% thanks to the larger 50 mm lens. It was possible to keep the compact design of the Lahoux Clip and to implement the technical innovation with an additional weight of only 50 grams. The 50 mm lens can be enlarged up to 8.5 times using the daylight optics (rifle scope, binoculars, etc.). This allows a maximum shooting distance of up to 170 meters. With these parameters, such as a field of view of 7.5 ° x 5.6 °, the Lahoux Clip 50 is recommended, especially for the ambitious field hunter.
Calculated according to the Johnson Criteria for a man sized target with a critical dimension of 1,8 x 0,5 meter. Detection, Recognition and Identification are defined for an image of respectively 1.5, 6 and 12 pixels on the image sensor.
